The Baraka should be Aman & the Aman should be Baraka. I just feel that Aman has a more gentle and pleasant sound to it, more accurate to the looks and persona of the WoW Power Leveling. And Baraka has a more harsh and aggressive sound more in line with how the Aman look and act.
Again this is not a serious post so much an opinion. I was looking for some thoughts from you guys and gals. I have posted this on the official site, but haven't seen anything on here and was wondering if I was the only one who felt this way.Here's what we know about the names and races and why I think they're perfect as-is.

1. Baraka.
According to the official race description on Tera-Online: “Descended from Giants, the Baraka (bah-RAH-kah) have massive physiques and highly-sophisticated intellects. They yearn most of all for knowledge, and are slow to anger, but are fierce fighters in the defense of the weak.”
In looking at various meanings of the word “Baraka”, we find: “It is the sanctity of blessings bestowed upon a person by a sage , saint”. So as Lunedhiver mentioned, it's about blessings, “Good luck'”, etc. and I think it fits well. Plus, the Baraka are the largest race and are fierce fighters when the time is right.

2. Amani.
Again, from Tera-Online: “Once enslaved by Giants, the Amani (ah-MAWN-ee) will never again bow to another. The Amani value freedom and self-sacrifice, but the heritage of their martial past is apparent in their powerful and hardened bodies. Having once experienced the iron hand of a conqueror, no race is more committed to cooperation and unity.”
Amani actually means “wishes” or “aspirations”. I think that easily describes a race hoping to never again be enslaved. Wishes, hopes, dreams, all embodied in a cheapest swtor credits race fighting for the Valkyon Federation. Also, Aman means “worthy of trust” which is another good description as the Amani are the most committed to unity and cooperation.
All in all, I like the two names as-is, especially after looking at some of the meanings.
