Again this is not a serious post so much an opinion. I was looking for some thoughts from you guys and gals. I have posted this on the official site, but haven't seen anything on here and was wondering if I was the only one who felt this way.Here's what we know about the names and races and why I think they're perfect as-is.

1. Baraka.
According to the official race description on Tera-Online: “Descended from Giants, the Baraka (bah-RAH-kah) have massive physiques and highly-sophisticated intellects. They yearn most of all for knowledge, and are slow to anger, but are fierce fighters in the defense of the weak.”
In looking at various meanings of the word “Baraka”, we find: “It is the sanctity of blessings bestowed upon a person by a sage , saint”. So as Lunedhiver mentioned, it's about blessings, “Good luck'”, etc. and I think it fits well. Plus, the Baraka are the largest race and are fierce fighters when the time is right.

2. Amani.
Again, from Tera-Online: “Once enslaved by Giants, the Amani (ah-MAWN-ee) will never again bow to another. The Amani value freedom and self-sacrifice, but the heritage of their martial past is apparent in their powerful and hardened bodies. Having once experienced the iron hand of a conqueror, no race is more committed to cooperation and unity.”
Amani actually means “wishes” or “aspirations”. I think that easily describes a race hoping to never again be enslaved. Wishes, hopes, dreams, all embodied in a cheapest swtor credits race fighting for the Valkyon Federation. Also, Aman means “worthy of trust” which is another good description as the Amani are the most committed to unity and cooperation.
All in all, I like the two names as-is, especially after looking at some of the meanings.

Diablo is a very different series in Wow.I personally would like to see quests that end more quickly and require less running around. This is an action RPG after all. Ideally all quests progress the story and players aren't inundated with quests from the whole town. Would also be nice for quests to change slightly per difficulty.
I believe there will be ' base ' story progression quests (unrepeatable) as Diablo is more linear, some can be skipped but most progress as you go and are required. Than there will be random quests that happen at certain situations and locations, some rarer than others, rewards and repeatability unknown.
Someone says: I just hope there aren't so many quests that it disrupts the flow of the game. It's like you said, it's an action RPG…there is no need for time sink quests or quests that feel extremely out of place (pick 10 flowers while you're down there in Hell). I sort of get the impression from the footage we've all seen that there will be more casual quests that progress the storyline than in the previous Diablo games.A good amount of the quests I think will reward important bonuses/rewards, such as the items you get for teleporting/breaking things down. Possibly like in D2 there will be some permanent bonus somewhere in the game like an extra 20 hp or something.Quests probably won't serve as a thought of the experience gained. Or at least I've never had that feel when progressing through Diablo.
I would like to see some primary quest that you can't skip like in D2 but some optional quest as well. Optional quest would give a nice little sack of gold, some experience or maybe an item. They shouldn't be something you have to do but good enough to make you consider them doing them.What's more though I would like to see quest that you don't always find. Sort of. You're out in the middle of the crow fields re-killing a group of undead farmers. If you're fortunate you'll come across farmer John and his family who have managed to hold out for this long. Now you have a chance to stand and defend them through a few waves of zombie attacks.It'd be nice if they went a step further such that not only is there only a chance that you'll happen upon this quest but failure is possible. If farmer John and his family dies you fail and you don't get to just drop and repeat the quest. You failed. The best you can hope for is at some future point you'll see farmer John in the fields again and get another shot.

I've seen a group PvP vid recently that rather turned me off, since there was a lot of 2-3-shotting going on and all the archer did was charge up and crit people down.
What I'm looking for is a game and class, that gives me options to outplay my opponents and has the least amount of easy-mode possible, i.e. minimal RNG, no over-the-top dmg and few “dead end” situations. Do you think TERA can live up to that?
Someone says that tera has the graphics, has the gameplay, but does not have the High End. For me a good high-end game would be to fight in epics battles to conquest castles, even if its instanced and not open world' to have GvGs like guild wars did' to mantain the control of one grind zone and not let ur enemy get equipped, or just a ladder where teams can compete in many maps like a RTS game would be, and each map have a nice objetive for competition. And OFC a great balance between classes to get a perfect (or great) teamplay to win battles.
While, some other sys: about tera, i think it could live with both views, but the only thing we can do atm is wait and hope that will be a well balanced game and has a lot of content to do. But for sure, and also imho, it will fail if the high-end are 2 Battlegrounds and 2 instances.
As for the post above me, You never know what is in the fore front for PvP content. Ktera has yet to release level 60 and we might as well see some type of guild versus guild system/battleground. Would be great to have seiges and castle raids also. Since this game doesn't have factions it will be mostly based on which guilds will dominate which on the server.
I think the Slayer role in group/roaming pvp depends on the enemy setup. Not only for slayer but with all damage dealer classes. This game offers to players a lot of skill, so u have to know before entering combat what are u going to face on. But yea, most of the time u will have to kill healers the first (and this still very cuestionable, because we dont know if the damage done will change in the EU/NA versions).
